VASA lets you cancel in the app or online — but watch the 30-day notice, the $25 six-month fee, and the freeze trap. Here's how, plus a ready-to-send letter.
Enter your details below to receive your personalised cancellation letter by email.
You'll need your name, membership barcode (in the VASA app under the "card" icon, or on your key tag), date of birth and ZIP.
Use the in-app cancellation flow or the Help Center form at support.vasafitness.com. You can also email support@vasafitness.com or call 801-426-8644.
Send your signed letter to VASA Fitness, Attn: Member Services, 1259 South 800 East, Orem, UT 84097. Generate it above.
Ask for written confirmation that your membership is cancelled — a freeze looks similar but resumes billing after 90 days.
Notice is 30 days, so expect one more draft. Billing runs through Paramount Acceptance — check 2–3 cycles and dispute anything after your effective date.
VASA (Fitness Member Services, LLC) is not BBB-accredited and has drawn 500+ complaints in three years — billing after cancellation is the top theme, often because an account was frozen instead of terminated. Several consumer class actions over auto-renewal disclosure and cancellation difficulty were filed in 2023. Translation: get written confirmation your membership is fully cancelled, keep your certified-mail receipt, and dispute wrongful charges with your bank.
Yes. VASA accepts cancellation through the VASA app's in-app flow and the online Help Center form at support.vasafitness.com (you'll need your barcode, date of birth and ZIP). Email support@vasafitness.com and certified mail to Member Services in Orem, UT also work. Always keep written confirmation.
Usually one of two reasons: the 30-day notice means one more payment still drafts, or your account was set to "freeze" rather than "cancel" and resumed after 90 days. Confirm in writing that it's terminated, and dispute any charge after your effective date.
Only if you cancel within the first 6 months — that's a $25 fee. After six months there's no cancellation fee, just the 30-day notice. The annual Rate Guarantee Fee is separate.
