Gold's Gyms are independently owned, so the details vary — but written notice always works. Here's how, plus a ready-to-send letter.
Enter your details below to receive your personalised cancellation letter by email.
Phone and email listed here are for general questions — to cancel, use the method in the first row above.
Your barcode/member number — on your keytag, app, or a billing email.
Give 30 days' written notice. Generate one above in seconds.
Hand your signed letter in at your home club or send it there by certified mail — Gold's is franchised, so your own club processes it (its cancellation link is at goldsgym.com/cancellation-request). On a corporate/employer plan, use the corporate route instead: Corporate Sales Cancellations, 4001 Maple Ave, Suite 200, Dallas, TX 75219 or CorporateSalesCancellations@goldsgym.com.
Save your receipt/sent email and request written confirmation of the end date.
Check 2–3 billing cycles. If you pay via payroll, also tell your employer's HR to stop the deduction.
Some clubs allow it, but phone cancellations are frequently not documented and members keep getting charged. Always cancel in writing (in person, certified mail, or email) and keep proof.
Paid-in-full memberships generally can't be cancelled early, except within the 3-day right-to-cancel window, or for club closure/relocation, death, or total disability.
Yes. Cancelling with Gold's does not stop a payroll deduction — you must separately ask your employer's HR to stop it.
