How to Cancel Your Chuze Fitness Membership

Chuze actually lets you cancel online or in the app — but there's a 10-day notice rule and a commitment fee to know. Here's how, plus a ready-to-send letter.

MethodChuze actually lets you cancel online at memberservices.chuzefitness.com (its easiest route), in the app (tap your membership photo → Membership → cancel), or in person at any club. Phone-only requests aren't honoured, so give 10 days' notice and keep written confirmation.
Notice & feesNotice is 10 days. Month-to-month members have no penalty; on a 12-month commitment there's a $58 early-termination fee. New members get a 5-business-day "buyer's remorse" window for a full refund. The annual fee (about $59.99) bills ~45 days after joining, then yearly — and keeps billing even while your membership is frozen.
Free exitYou can freeze for any reason, up to 6 months a year, for a reduced monthly fee (no proof needed). A medical hold needs a doctor's note. Active military relocating more than 25 miles from a Chuze location can freeze or end the commitment fee-free with orders. A standard move isn't a confirmed fee-waiver — check with your club.

Step by step

How to cancel your Chuze Fitness membership

1

Check you're in good standing

Any past-due balance must be cleared first — Chuze won't process a cancellation on an account that isn't current.

2

Cancel online, in the app, or in person

Easiest is your account at memberservices.chuzefitness.com. Or in the app: tap your membership photo (top-right) → "Membership" → "cancel." Or sign the cancellation form at any club.

3

Give 10 days' notice

Submit at least 10 days before your next billing date, or one more monthly charge will go through.

4

Get written confirmation

Email info@chuzefitness.com or keep your online confirmation. Don't rely on a phone call — Chuze doesn't process cancellations by phone alone.

5

Watch your statements

Billing runs through ABC Financial. Check 2–3 cycles and dispute any charge after your cancellation date.

Before you cancel: keep written proof

Chuze Fitness currently holds a BBB rating of "F" (not accredited), largely for unanswered complaints — and billing-after-cancellation is a recurring theme, including members billed long after they believed they'd cancelled. Translation: cancel online or in person, request written confirmation, keep it, and dispute any wrongful charge with your bank promptly.

FAQ

Common questions

Can you cancel a Chuze Fitness membership online?

Yes — Chuze calls the online route the easiest: log in at memberservices.chuzefitness.com, or use the app (tap your membership photo → "Membership" → "cancel"). You can also sign a cancellation form in person. Phone-only requests aren't honored, so give 10 days' notice and keep written confirmation.

Will I still be charged after cancelling?

If you cancel within 10 days of your billing date, one more charge goes through. The annual fee also keeps billing during a freeze, and Chuze has BBB complaints about billing after cancellation — so keep your confirmation and dispute any later charge with your bank.

Is there a fee to cancel Chuze?

Month-to-month members pay nothing. On a 12-month commitment there's a $58 early-termination fee, unless you qualify for the military-relocation exemption. New members have a 5-business-day window to cancel for a full refund.
